4.7 Use Custom Market Data (Upload Your Own Data)
Custom Market Data allows you to upload your own datasets and use them directly in portfolio analysis, backtesting, and optimization.
This is useful if you want to:
- add your own asset to a portfolio
- test proprietary or external strategies
- compare your portfolio to external market data
- or work with datasets that are not available in Portfoliometrics by default
To use this feature, simply upload a CSV file with a datetime column and price data.
